RAFIQ DEVJI

Chief Executive Officer

Rafiq Devji, CEO of BR Management has extensive experience and expertise in managing large teams of employees ranging from store associates to managers, supervisors, and even Multi Unit Operators (MUO’s). During his business Management career of over 25 years, he has owned, operated, and oversaw multiple convenience stores, gas stations, gift shops, and 7-Eleven franchised stores.

Mr. Devji possesses a strong background in streamlining store operations. He extensively studies market trends to determine consumer demands, analyzing sales as well as both short and long term impact of competition. He is also deeply involved with the responsibilities of planning, budgeting, and authorizing expenditures. He has been found to be highly influential for the organization in improving operational revenues by reviewing expenses on a periodic basis as well as providing feedback and helping create a plan at all stages of management for constructively managing the business.

Mr. Devji has also been a crucial part in charge of the multiple acquisitions in their portfolio. He is responsible for examining the acquisitions from a financial and an operation’s improvement perspective in order to identify and leverage opportunities from the acquisitions. Mr. Devji is also the man behind the oversight of all aspects of the company’s businesses on a continuous basis. BADRUDDIN KHERAJ

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kheraj is a pivotal member, responsible for acquisitions in their portfolio. He is also responsible for the financial analysis, reviewing and analyzing the financial, legal and all related reports of the company’s businesses on an ongoing basis.  He was also the operating partner in a joint venture with a very well-established bank in Atlanta, Georgia, offering financial services in several convenience store locations which included check cashing, money transfer and so on. Since 1986, Mr. Kheraj has been involved in the retail and financial service businesses. He was also a franchisee with 7-Eleven for over 20 years.

Mr. Kheraj holds multiple educational qualifications under his belt. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, a Diploma in Business Administration, an Associate in Electronics Engineering Technology from Heald Institute of Technology, California as well as an Associate in Accounting from the De Anza College in California. Post education, he has been engaged in a variety of different aspects of the business world including, but not limited to, single and multiple store management.


Mr. Kheraj has also been a pivotal member, responsible for multiple acquisitions in their portfolio. He is also responsible for the businesses financial analysis, watching over business related market trends, reviewing and analyzing all the financial reports as well as all environmental, insurance, and legal related day-to-day responsibilities of the company’s businesses and financial review of all the businesses on an ongoing basis. 

As a CFO, his prime focus has been in setting a benchmark of financial discipline required to remain profitable without compromising on the growth. He is also responsible for actively managing the relationships with various financial institutions. During the last 30 years, he has also undertaken various leadership roles in the community and has managed large event management projects on a voluntary basis besides offering voluntary services to various NGOs.

Currently, Mr.Kheraj is also one of the investors, leading to him being a 50% owner of BR Management and it’s associated companies including, but not limited to, TN Management Group, Radiant Group of Companies, and various other companies that combined own, lease, and manage over 150 gas station/convenience stores across Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

BAHROZ COTARDIA

Financial Officer

A Memphis native, Mr. Cotardia has spent the majority of his life in the birthplace of rock and roll. Prior to graduating from the University of Memphis in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Mr. Cotardia first commenced working with Mr. Devji and Mr. Kheraj in 2012, prior to the founding of BR Management. Since this time, Mr. Cotardia has played a vital role to assist in the growth of the once-small company into the successful corporation it stands as today.

Utilizing the immense knowledge, he gained through his education and extensive work experience in the field, Mr. Cotardia now handles and maneuver all of the financials for the companies that fall under the purview of BR Management. Alongside this, he is involved in the day-to-day financial aspects for BR Management’s ventures, including payables, receivables, financial aspects, and even legal matters.

Mr. Cotardia is also an operating partner in several BR Management projects, providing his assistance in both macro and micro-level supervision and management of multiple gas stations and convenience stores across the Mid-South United States. By leveraging his substantial work experience in the field, Mr. Cotardia is able to make informed, quick decisions about which directions to pursue at what moment, allowing for greater efficiency within the company’s operations.

Farhan Kheraj

Financial Officer

A UCLA alumnus who majored in Financial Actuarial Mathematics and Accounting, Mr. Kheraj holds experience in multiple spheres of the business world, from financial analysis and modeling to risk management and data analysis, as well as accounting and corporate tax law.

While attending university, he interned at CPA and many accounting firms, where he learned the inner workings of audit, tax, bookkeeping, and financial planning processes, as well as how to analyze different tax codes to ascertain the most productive courses of action to structure and commence projects. 

He also utilized his time by interning at a law firm, where he gained insight into legal procedures, follow-ups, and the documentation required when doing business, as well as spending time at a real estate development and management company, gaining experience in developing the strategies that define the operations of different businesses.

After graduating from UCLA, Mr. Kheraj began working as a risk analyst, where he focused on developing data and statistic-driven models to assess the risk associated with different investments – both domestic and foreign – based on a variety of factors and then strategizing ways to mitigate those potential risks. Following up on that, he conducted ground research as to the viability of these risk reduction tactics and all of the legal as well as strategic steps needed to implement them.

HANIF POPATIA

Operation Director

Mr. Popatia began his career in Atlanta, Georgia where he leveraged his managerial skills to grow in the industry – eventually owning and operating 10 stores across the metro Atlanta area. After relocating to Memphis, Mr. Popatia utilized this extensive business experience to take over the operation of every location under BR Management’s belt.

Mr. Popatia brings a decades-long worth of experience and exquisite expertise in the gas station and convenience-store industry which has provided him with an irreplaceable skillset that he utilizes in his day-to-day operations. Whether, he is overseeing employees and supervisors, auditioning new vendors, or controlling expenses, Mr. Popatia’s dedication and commitment to all the work he does, locates him at the forefront of the industry, making him an important member in BR Management’s leadership.

ROMEO SHAFI

Operation Director

Mr. Shafi has been working with the company for over a decade, sharing his expertise in both operation control and management to bring success to the 30 gas stations, he has diligently operated and managed throughout his time with BR Management. Mr. Shafi’s true expertise lies in his amiable relationship with his employees. Despite having control over several different gas stations across Tennessee and Mississippi, Mr. Shafi still manages to build cordial relationships with the store managers and employees alike, forming a bond of mutual respect, admiration, and trust. Through his personalized approach to operations, Mr. Shafi has been able to expand brand-new stations into successful businesses, providing excellent guidance as well as fruitful assistance to new managers which allow them to continue to grow on their own.

On top of day-to-day operations, Mr. Shafi is also highly influential in the directions, the company takes in it’s new ventures, bringing his extensive experience to the table – allowing the company to make knowledgeable decisions about how to implement new policies and procedures. His field experiential knowledge proves to be an invaluable asset to the company and his business acumen is readily apparent in the success of the multiple stations he operates.
